Connections. That's what Cross Church's Ministry to Kids is all about. We provide fun activities in a safe environment where kids can connect with other kids to form meaningful friendships. We help kids discover how the truths from God's Word connect with the world today. We partner with parents in an effort to connect church with home. Most of all, we want to show kids how they can connect with Jesus Christ by trusting him as their Savior and making him Lord of their lives.

Kids Camp 2026 | June 15th - June 19th
For children who have completed grade 3rd - 5th during the 2025-2026 school year. Join us as we take a journey to Kids Camp—an action-packed, faith-filled experience where kids make new friends, have tons of fun, and grow in their relationship with God through engaging activities, worship, and meaningful moments.

Bible Fellowship Groups (CCKiDS)
Small Groups for Newborn through 5th Grade

Kids can get connected to God's Word so that they can share and live out the gospel as they enjoy learning through hands-on activities and games prepared and led by caring adult volunteers.
In CCKids, we use Lifeway's The Gospel Project curriculum.The Gospel Project is a weekly Bible study that helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ. This Christ-centered, chronological Bible study encourages true transformation that comes from the gospel.
VIP
Extended Small Groups for Birth - 4 years old
9:30-10:45AM
VIP is child care for children birth through 4 years during our 9:30AM Worship Service. Children are automatically transitioned from VIP to CCKiDS at 10:45AM.
Kid Worship (Children's Church)
Worship Service for kids ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade

Kid Worship is kid friendly and relevant for young children with a focus on helping them learn to worship God with their whole heart. In Kid Worship, we use Gospel Project. This curriculum goes through the whole Bible in three years based on themes found in the Bible.
Ongoing Events
New Discoveries Class
New Discoveries is a special class designed to celebrate a child's decision to follow Christ. It is a one-time session that covers basic principles for Christian living, including assurance of salvation, the meaning and "how-to's" of baptism and the Lord's Supper, the process of growing in Christ through a daily quiet time (prayer and Bible study), and worship in the local church family. All children that have made a commitment to trust Jesus as their Savior are encouraged to attend this fun, fast-paced informative class. Family Dedications
A family dedication is a time set aside in a worship service for members of Cross Church who are parents desiring to publicly commit to bring their child up in “the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” You will find below the application to fill out and request a Family Dedication along with some FAQ’s that are provided for your knowledge and information. Parents should call the church office when they are ready to schedule their family dedication to be held during the scheduled worship service that is best for them. 817.686.2050
Special Needs
Your special needs child is welcome at Cross Church NFW!
Every person has the ability to experience God in a special way. Our volunteers are ready to love your child and help maximize his or her experience at church. We work closely with parents to create an individualized program for each child based on his or her developmental ability. Shadowing: Some special needs kids just need a helping hand. Trained adult and teen buddies serve as “shadows” enabling kids to participate in typical classes and Kid Worship to his or her maximum ability.
